Reason for this visit

Estonia is a popular region for cryptocurrency activities. Thanks to the Estonian government's open regulation and positive attitude towards cryptocurrencies, more and more crypto exchanges are planning to take on this market. To help investors or practitioners get a more comprehensive understanding of the local exchanges, the survey team decided to go to the Republic of Estonia for on-site visits.

On-site visit

This time the survey team visited the cryptocurrency exchange Exrates in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, with specific address at Tornimae tn 7, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallin, Harju maakond, Estonia.

The survey team came to the destination of this survey, an office building in Tornimae tn 7, Tallin, Estonia. The building is a modern office building, located in a professional office block, surrounded by many high-rise buildings, which looks very prosperous. 

The team found the directory of building, on which there was no logo or name of the cryptocurrency exchange Exrates. In addition, they were unable to enter the building and had to end the visit.

 Conclusion

The survey team went to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, to visit the cryptocurrency exchange Exrates, and found no business premise of the exchange, which means the given business address might be fake. Please be prudent if trading with this exchange.
