Reason for this visit

In contrast with many exchanges in East Asia, the crypto platforms in the US are more strictly regulated. In the meantime, Coinbase, the world’s top one cryptocurrency exchange, is based in the US. In an attempt to help investors to get a more comprehensive understanding of the exchanges in the US, WikiBit survey team decide to go to the country for on-site visits to the local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to Colorado in the US to visit cryptocurrency exchange NashEx as planned according to its regulatory address that 4610 South Ulster Street, Suite 1200, Denver, Colorado.

The investigators came to 4610 South Ulster Street in Denver, Colorado on October 31, 2023, where company NashEx was registered.

A modern office building is situated in the heart of Denver Tech Center, boasting a fabulous location, which is easily accessible by highways like I-25, I-225, E-470, etc. thanks to convenient transportation. In addition, there are full equipped amenities nearby such as restaurants, training rooms, private gym, free parking lot, bank, ATMs, hotel, and others. As per the regulatory information of NashEx, the companys office is located in the building.

After entering the building, the survey personnel found a directory in the lobby, which didn‘t show the specific floor and unit number of NashEx, and failed to find any information regarding the company following the double check of all company names from A to Z. With the team’s effort to search the company in the building, it turns out that theres no sign of its office.

Through an on-site investigation, it is confirmed that NashEx doesnt have a presence at the location.

Conclusion

The survey team went to the US to visit cryptocurrency exchange NashEx, and didn‘t find the company at its regulatory address. This suggests that the company doesn’t have a physical business office at the place. Therefore, investors are advised to choose the exchange cautiously.
