In order to help investors to get a more comprehensive understanding of the country's cryptocurrency exchanges, the survey team go to Japan for on-site visits to local exchanges.

On-site visit

In this issue, the investigation team went to Tokyo, Japan to visit the cryptocurrency exchange OKCOIN JAPAN (licensee: OKCoin Japan K.K.) as planned according to its registered regulatory address that 5/F, Toranomon Sakurada-Dori Building, 1-2-10 Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo.

The survey team arrived at the destination on March 1, 2023, where Toranomon Sakurada-Dori Building was situated near Toranomon Station, surrounded by high-story buildings with convenient transportation, and spotted the companys physical business office on the 5th floor of the building. Meanwhile, OKCOIN JAPAN was operating business normally during opening hours with cryptocurrency related documents on its office door. There was no reception desk or security guard so that people were allowed to enter freely.

Conclusion

The survey personnel went to Tokyo, Japan to visit the cryptocurrency exchange OKCOIN JAPAN as scheduled, and found the companys physical business office at its registered regulatory address. Investors are advised to make a sensible choice based on a comprehensive consideration.
