Reason for the visit

Recently, some investors asked for more exposures of the cryptocurrency dealers in Taiwan. The regulatory authorities of Taiwan,has not drafted or passed any formal orders on blockchain and cryptocurrency industry, but has formed the Taiwan Crypto Blockchain Self-Regulatory Organization (TCBSRO) and developed industry standards and practices.

In order to help investors get a more comprehensive understanding of cryptocurrency dealers in the region, the survey team went to Taiwan for site-visits.

About this session of field survey

This session of Field Survey will visit the cryptocurrency dealer Bitasset, and the specific address is: Level-8, No. 285, Sec. 2, Tiding Blvd, Zhongshan Dist., Taipei City.

The team arrived at No. 285, Sec. 2, Tiding Blvd, Taipei City. The building is on the main road in the Neihu Science Park. The building is not very big.

The team entered the lobby of the building and found no logo or name of the cryptocurrency dealer Bitasset on the floor directory. Later, the team consulted the security staff and learned that the entire 8th floor was unmanned; the team planned to go to the 8th floor to find out, but they were unable to go upstairs due to strict access check.

Conclusion

The survey team went to visit Bitasset, a cryptocurrency dealer in Taiwan,and found that there was no office premise at its official business address, that is to say, the dealer did not have a real business place. Please be prudent if trading with this dealer.
