In an attempt to provide investors with a more comprehensive understanding of Estonian cryptocurrency exchanges, WikiBit survey team is determined to go to the country for on-site visit to local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to Estonia to visit cryptocurrency exchange STEX as planned according to its regulatory address that Parda 4, Tallinn, Harjumaa, Estonia, 10151.

The investigators came to Parda 4 in Tallinn of Harjumaa, Estonia for a visit to the exchange‘s office on January 19, 2024, and located a modern commercial building. There were outdoor directories at the entrance of the building, which, however, didn’t display any information pertinent to cryptocurrency exchange STEX.

Upon access to the building for further investigation, the survey personnel didn‘t spot security guards and reception area in the lobby. And the lobby directory didn’t show any information concerning STEX. According to the companys regulatory address, there was no specific unit number or room number.

Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that the company doesnt have a physical presence at the location.

Conclusion

The survey team went to Estonia to visit cryptocurrency exchange STEX as planned, but didnt find the company at its regulatory address. This indicates that the company may just register with the address without a physical business office. Therefore, investors are advised to choose the exchange cautiously.
