Reason for this visit

Financial regulatory agencies in various states in the US are also taking measures, with some encouraging digital asset innovation and others adopting a cautious regulatory attitude. On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to the US to visit cryptocurrency exchange BITFRONT as planned according to its regulatory address that 366 Cambridge Ave., Suite 100 Palo Alto, CA 94306.

The investigators came to 366 Cambridge Avenue in Palo Alto of California in the US for a visit to the exchanges office on October 16, 2023, and located an independent 2-storey commercial building. The name of company “Harmony” was displayed at the entrance of the building. In the meantime, there was no high-rise building nearby due to being out of professional office districts.

With the door of the building closed, the survey personnel didnt spot the logo of “BITFRONT”, as well as the stairs. At the same time, nobody answered the doorbell, and there was no information regarding BITFRONT on the intercom system on the ground floor.

Through an on-site investigation, it is confirmed that the company doesnt have a presence at the location.

Conclusion

The survey team went to the US to visit cryptocurrency exchange BITFRONT, but didnt find the company at its regulatory address. This suggests that the company might just register at the place without a physical business office. Therefore, investors should be meticulous in choosing the exchange.
