NFL Rivals Introduces Monster Smash 2 Featuring Adrian Peterson

NFL Rivals, the officially licensed NFL video game, launched its highly anticipated Halloween event, ‘Monster Smash 2’. This event marks the introduction of NFL legend and former MVP Adrian Peterson, who takes center stage with dynamic challenges and performances as a running back. Players compete in various events and challenges over the next four weeks, aiming to “rewrite history” by reliving some of Petersons most iconic career moments.

Adrian Petersons Legendary Role

Adrian Peterson, the event‘s standout figure, is featured in several game editions throughout the four-week program. Players can unlock their editions as a free giveaway, a Battle Pass reward, and top rewards in the program’s store. Specifically, the Legendary and Mythical Player Editions. However, only one of these desired versions can be purchased using the in-game currency Candy.

The “Monster Smash 2” event allows players to complete up to 40 milestones, unlocking valuable rewards. These include coins, gems, training resources, and exclusive player cards. By participating in currency-collecting events during the week and player-specific ‘Main Events’ on the weekend, players can earn ‘Candy’ to spend on rare and legendary players in the promo store.

Among the event highlights are ten special running challenges where players can relive Adrian Petersons career-defining moments, such as his record-breaking 296-yard game in 2007. Completing these challenges unlocks Petersons “Rare NAT” and “Epic LE” editions, with the final reward being his rare card, which provides advantages in future gameplay.

The “Monster Smash 2” program introduces a spooky stadium, eerie card effects, and special camera shakes when using any version of Adrian Peterson. With 40 milestones and various rewards available, players are set to enjoy a thrilling, competitive experience through mid-November.
