BREAKING: Coinbase Decides To Bring The Controversial Pre-Launch Markets Feature To Its Platform – Newly Released Altcoins Will Be Affected

Coinbase International, the global platform of the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, announced that it will now mediate pre-launch token trading.

Thanks to this step by Coinbase, users will be able to buy and sell this token ahead of an upcoming token launch, even before the token in question is released.

Critics counter this, arguing that such pre-launch trades are highly affected by price manipulation since no tokens exist yet.

Particularly after the Aevo project launched with Binance Launchpool, interest in pre-launch trading increased. Aevo was launched as a cryptocurrency platform specific to tokens before the launch in question.

However, Coinbase's feature will not be available to US users because Coinbase International is not available to US users. The company is trying out features on this relatively new platform that are not normally allowed in the USA.
