            • LayerZero has posted on X platform stating that distributing tokens to persistent users (rather than witch users) aligns with the best interests of the protocol. For witch users, there are now two options: either self-report the witch address before May 17th, retaining a 15% allocation of the airdrop; or if the address is reported internally by LayerZero or marked by bounty hunters, subsequent reporting will be ineffective, and no tokens will be received.

According to LayerZero's official disclosure, the witch hunt will be conducted in three rounds.

The first round is the “self-reporting” stage, which will last for 14 days. Users who suspect themselves to be witches can “self-report” through the window provided by LayerZero during this stage to retain a 15% allocation of the airdrop.

The second stage is the “official inquiry” stage, during which LayerZero will conduct witch screenings according to specific rules. The screening results will be announced on May 18th, and addresses identified during this stage will not receive any airdrop allocation.

The third stage is the “mutual reporting” stage, which will continue from May 18th to May 31st. LayerZero encourages community users to report witch behavior to each other. Successful reporters will receive a 10% allocation of the airdrop for the reported addresses.
