Reason for this visit

As the smallest member of the European Union, Malta, a Mediterranean island country, hopes to becomes one of the most crypto-friendly regions in the world through perfect policies and regulations. Binance and OKEx, two of the world's top five cryptocurrency exchanges, chose Malta as their operation center, and then other exchanges followed suit. In order to help investors have a comprehensive understanding of the country's cryptocurrency exchanges, the survey team went to Malta for on-site visits.

On-site visit

In this issue, the investigation team went to Valletta, Malta to visit the cryptocurrency exchange NS BROKER as planned according to the regulatory address it claims that 168 St. Christopher Street.

The survey personnel arrived at the quite St. Christopher Street, Valletta, Malta on February 13, 2023, on both sides of which stands two rows of low-rise buildings.

The investigators reached the destination at 168 St. Christopher Street, but didn’t spot the logo or name of the cryptocurrency exchange NS BROKER, besides an independent building without reception or lobby area and mail box. And its door was closed.

An information board beside the door showed the name and phone number of the company which was running a business here. After dialing the number for the information about NS BROKER, the survey team was told by a person on the phone that they had no idea about NS BROKER and its office.

Conclusion

The survey personnel went to Valletta, Malta to visit the cryptocurrency exchange NS BROKER as scheduled, but did not find the physical office at its publicly displayed business address. Investors are advised to choose this exchange carefully.
