Reason for this visit

In order to help investors to get a more comprehensive understanding of the country's cryptocurrency brokers (exchanges), the survey team will go to Japan to conduct on-site visits to local brokers (exchanges).

On-site visit

In this issue, the investigation team went to Tokyo, Japan to visit the cryptocurrency exchange DeCurret as planned according to its registered regulatory address that Iidabashi Grand Bloom, 2-10-2, Fujimi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

The investigation team arrived at the destination on February 27, 2023, where an office building Iidabashi Grand Bloom was situated near the Iidabashi Station in Northern Tokyo Imperial Palace. It takes one minute to walk from the building to Iidabashi Station, which is very convenient. 

Iidabashi Grand Bloom is a comprehensive and upscale office building with a clean and spacious lobby as well as restaurants, stores, coffee bars, and working rooms, etc. After entering the building, the investigation team found that the company DeCurret was located between the 13-21 floors from the company directory. But people were not allowed to make a visit to the company without a permission from the reception desk on the 13th floor, according to the security rule. Finally, the survey personnel failed to reach the target floor.

Conclusion

The survey personnel went to Tokyo, Japan to visit the cryptocurrency exchange DeCurret as scheduled, and spotted the company’s name and logo from the company directory of the upscale office building, which suggests that DeCurret has a physical business office at its registered regulatory address. Unfortunately, the survey personnel were not able to enter the company for a special visit, so the specific scale of its business is unknown. Investors are advised to make a sensible choice based on a comprehensive consideration.
