We're pleased to announce that Bitfinex will support the GALA token migration, which is scheduled to take place on 15th May 2023. This migration will improve token functionality, security, and scalability.The old GALA token on the Bitfinex platform will be replaced with the new token at a 1 to 1 ratio. Customers are not required to do anything. Deposits and withdrawals of the GALA token will be temporarily suspended on 15th May 2023 at 04:30 PM UTC. GALA trading will not be affected. Once the token migration is completed, deposits and withdrawals of the new GALA token will open on 16th May 2023 at approximately 08:00 am UTC.
